Yet you seem to be holding a drink with a paper umbrella, are enticed by dazzling imagery and can hear some of the grooviest sounds you've ever heard — you must really be in Bora Bora. THE VISION 🧿 Pseudotropica is a not-for-profit, community-centric music and arts event. We’re channelling the ever-growing, ever-thriving “kind of tropical” aesthetic that's zapping its way across London, and promoting the best artists from this town’s creative underground. WHAT TO EXPECT 🪘 Live music from acts spanning a multitude of genres, from punk, to jazz, to avant-garde, to a whole lotta mind-bending fusion. 🖼️ In the same room, an eclectic exhibition of art, with a vast array of styles. From abstract expressionism, to the psychedelia, to evocative photography and folkloric symbolism. 🎤 Non-stop jams - Bring your instruments and create the musical grooves with us! 🧑🏼🎨 Art being born on the spot as live painters capture the night through their canvases. 🔊 Towards the end of the night, two DJs and their tropical grooves will rule the dancefloor! 🍹 A brand new cocktail you must try at the bar - Ask for a Pseudotropica! YOUR ENERGY 🙋🏼 All attendees are encouraged to contribute during the event, as we aim for it to be a co-created experience without passive consumers, where the line between performers and audience is blurred. To promote this, we’ll be offering outlets through which attendees can create, such as a “community canvas” and a disposable film camera.
